The couple above is identified as D.T. Watson and wife Mary.  William C. North, photographer, Cleveland, Ohio. Any Watson genealogy experts out there? The man was probably born between 1795-1815.

This portrait of a very old man was taken in 1854. It's a quarter plate daguerreotype. Written inside are just two short entries:

"Taken by W.S. Waldron Oct 1854", and "Died July 16 1860"
W.S. Waldron was a daguerreian photographer in Middletown Ohio in 1853 and 1854. So, this man probably lived in the area and died on July 16, 1860. He looks to be in his eighties or nineties in the image, which would put his birth in the 1750's through the 1770's. There is a chance that he was a revolutionary war soldier. If anyone has any clues as to this man's identity, please reply. He appears to have blue eyes. I did quite a lot of google searches on his death date with no luck so far. Thanks!
